Logistics manager is an education path addressed to students who want to additionally develop soft skills necessary for working as a logistics engineer.


What will you learn?

Graduates will gain managerial skills in the field of designing logistics processes, logistics process management, as well as customer service and relationship management. This specialization will also help graduates to develop unique competences in the field of social and sociological aspects of work in the profession of logistics engineer. The program of this specialization designed in such a way will equip a potential graduate with a unique combination of knowledge, skills and competences, allowing them to find work in a multicultural environment, especially in the so-called shared service centers that support, apart from strictly business processes, also logistics processes.


Your educational pathway

  • Designing and implementing logistics strategies – the classes are aimed to familiarize students with the processes of building an effective logistics strategy and its adaptation to the current market requirements.
  • IT systems supporting logistics processes – the classes will show you how to use IT tools, including specialized software, to support logistics processes in any enterprise.
  • Social and sociological problems of the logistics profession – the classes will prepare you to perform the role of a manager-logistics engineer and show you the importance of soft competences in fulfilling this role.
  • Decision-making processes in logistics management – classes that are to prepare students for optimal logistics decision-making with the use of computer-based process support tools.
  • Logistics customer service and relationship management – the classes will prepare you to function in the complex B2B market.
  • Benchmarking in logistics – the classes prepare for the use of benchmarking tools in creating logistics processes, analyzing logistics concepts and comparing solutions between entities.

Graduates of this specialization are prepared to work in the following departments:

  • logistics of production, trade and service enterprises,
  • or as supply chain coordinators,
  • manager for logistics in domestic and international entities,
  • logistics department manager in various types of organizations, including, above all, companies from the TFL industry (Transport – Forwarding – Logistics),
  • specialist in public utility companies operating in logistics.
