The OECD report shows that there is a growing demand in Poland for specialists in the field of network infrastructure, including cloud system administrators, computer system and network administrators, and IT infrastructure maintenance specialists. The data presented by the Polish Economic Institute clearly indicate that there is currently a huge demand for specialists - the information included in the report shows that there is a shortage of at least 25,000 IT specialists, and 63% of companies have difficulty finding suitable candidates.

What should you know
when choosing this educational path?
As a first-cycle IT student, you will choose your educational path during your fourth semester
Classes within the Computer Systems and Networks path are held from the fifth semester until the end of the programme
As a graduate of this path, you can find employment in companies involved in IT systems integration, implementation and consulting services, data processing, administration of complex systems and their resources, IT outsourcing, hardware and software distribution, and training
What will we teach you?
you will learn the principles of designing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure, both in local and distributed environments - you will learn how to manage Windows and Linux server systems, discovering their practical applications in a business environment
you will learn about virtual instances, data storage services, software-defined networking, and database services (SQL and noSQL types) in MS Azure and Amazon Web Services
- you will learn the principles of designing and implementing information systems and administering domain and directory services, developing the skills necessary for the work of an IT administrator

Computer systems and networks is a specialization that prepares students to work with modern IT infrastructure. During practical classes, students will learn how to administer cloud services, configure network access systems, and manage domain and directory services. They will learn the principles of designing and implementing information systems and how to carry out complex IT projects - from needs analysis to IT solution maintenance.
