Description of the scope of training
Reliable financial information is a key asset of a modern business. Our study programme in Auditing and financial review is a response to this need of reliable financial information! If you choose this module of studies, you will learn how to conduct an audit of financial statements and what an audit and a review of financial statements is. What is more, you will become familiar with the role and importance of the statutory auditor in contemporary accounting’s validation role. You will also learn how to use IT tools in the context of statutory auditor’s job.
What will you learn?
Through learning the essence and the purpose of auditing, you will acquire the skills necessary to observe, measure, document and create information about audited financial statements as a product of accounting. This information becomes a kind of resource in a modern company, determining how efficiently the material and human resources are used.
While studying auditing and auditing-related subjects, you will develop the ability to identify irregularities in the area of financial management. This ability will allow you to distinguish reliable information from the one created for the purpose of distorting financial statements. Gaining specialized knowledge of financial, management and audit accounting in various business units and organizations will enable you to make rational and accurate short and long-term decisions.
As a WSZiB graduate, you will understand the language of accounting and use it as a platform for communication in the modern business world. You’ll become familiar with public finance auditing and analysing financial statements, which will facilitate pursuing further training in order to become a certified statutory editor.
