Consumer Rights. Safe Online Shopping – Lecture
7 Apr '25

Online shopping is an everyday occurrence, but do we know how to do it consciously and risk-free? On Friday, April 11, in the Prof. Włodzimierz Roszczynialski Auditorium, a meeting with Allegro experts took place, who spoke in an accessible way about consumer rights and safe online shopping.

The meeting, as part of the Modern Business Management program, was led by Samanta Stępień and Filip Przygodzki – specialists in consumer protection.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the most important rules of e-shopping: from the right to return, through the differences between a warranty and a guarantee, to recognizing safe payment methods. A handful of practical tips was also given – on what to do when something goes wrong and where to seek support in case of problems with the seller.

The event had shown that consumer education is still not only necessary, but also highly anticipated – especially in a world where we click “Add to cart” almost everyday.
