Alumni testimonials

Why did I choose The School of Banking and Management? Before making the decision, I had analyzed rankings of Polish universities published by “Rzeczpospolita” and “Polityka” magazines. In those rankings, The School of Banking and Management occupied one of the highest positions. The choice I made has proven to be the right one. I have been very happy with the School’s curriculum and the style of instruction. All this has also caused my sister Karolina to enroll in The School of Banking and Management three years later.

Everything that I learned during management and marketing studies has been helpful to me while running WIMARK Sp. z o. o. – a family’s firm (and part of the WIMED Group) that specializes in horizontal road marking.

I remember The School of Banking and Management as a place focused on the student; a place where young people’s views are respected. The school has a highly developed IT system, which proves helpful in the student’s everyday relationship with the school. But the most important thing to me was the innovative form of lectures combined with practical activities instead of lectures that merely summarize the textbook material. During my time at the school I met a number of interesting people, and I am still in touch with some of them. The knowledge I gained at the school made an easier career start possible for me.

I can recommend The School of Banking and Management to all the young people who aspire to a successful career.

I have the pleasure to be among the alumni of The School of Banking and Management in Cracow. As an alumnus who is already pursuing her professional career, I can state that my choice of both the university and the course of study was entirely right.

For over ten years I have been working in the local government of the Cracow municipality. Currently I am the head of the Communal Infrastructure and Transport Department in Cracow. My studies at The School of Banking and Management allowed me to enrich my previous knowledge and practical experience by modern theoretical, university-level knowledge. During my studies I gained a solid understanding of management instruments and methodology, analysis and evaluation of economic processes and business practice. All this is very useful to me in running an organization in a quite difficult free-market reality, achieving the tasks that this organization is charged with, shaping its public relations as well as stimulating the energy and creativity of my co-workers. Theoretical preparation – the development of which have been undoubtedly aided by the knowledge I obtained at The School of Banking and Management – has contributed to all my professional achievements. Thus, I can fully recommend The School of Banking and Management to all the young people who plan to engage in post-high school education, have talent and ability as well as strong motivation to expand their knowledge and skills related to the broadly defined field of economics.
